Our Ecosystem
An epistemic community
Rural Hack is first of all an epistemic community: a space where researchers, professionals, institutions, activists, entrepreneurs and students share a transformative vision of the food system.
It is not simply a network of contacts,
but a community of intention: actors with different backgrounds and competences who recognize themselves in a shared perspective, Mediterranean, systemic and situated, oriented toward the transformation of the FoodSystem and toward processes of Mediterranean innovation rooted in territories.
This community is structured into an operational ecosystem composed of Alumni, Contributors and Partners.
Alumni
They ensure continuity and diffusion of the vision within the territories and institutions in which they operate.
Through research, enterprise, policy and projects, they translate the FoodSystem 5.0 framework into situated practices, contributing to the transformation of the contexts in which they act.
Contributors
They nourish intellectual and editorial production.
They contribute to the construction of a corpus of knowledge that is rigorous yet accessible, capable of making complexity readable without simplifying it. They participate in a continuous work of analysis, theoretical elaboration and public narration.
A dynamic network between soil and platforms
Rural Hack facilitates connections between territories, institutions and the infosphere: it builds bridges with territories and within digital infrastructures, fostering hybrid alliances and collective learning processes.
The ecosystem is not static: it is a dynamic network of relationships extending between soil and platforms, between local communities and translocal networks, between territorial experimentation and public debate.
