The wine supply chain is currently faced with the need to combine product quality with low environmental impact production models. In a context marked by increasingly pressing climate challenges, technological innovation and precision agriculture offer essential tools, which however require a conscious integration into traditional agronomic practices in order to be truly effective and sustainable.
Rural Hack participates in the project by promoting workshops and hands-on training sessions dedicated to “Smart Agriculture.” The goal is to support winegrowers in the adoption of advanced technological solutions—from field data monitoring to the optimization of winery processes—encouraging more efficient resource management. Through the dissemination of best practices, the project aims to strengthen the competitiveness of wine businesses, making sustainable innovation a value driver for the entire supply chain.
