Wine 4.0: technology, research, and sustainability for the wine sector

Scenario

The wine sector is one of the key assets underpinning Made in Italy. In response to market demands and within the context of climate change, the entire industry is undergoing a gradual transformation driven by technological innovation, with the aim of building a more efficient and sustainable production system, both environmentally and socio-economically.

Objective

The event aimed to build a bridge between the research world and companies in the wine sector (and beyond), fostering widespread knowledge that can be applied in businesses of different sizes and across diverse cultivation contexts. It did so by presenting two successful case studies in which innovation supported the production of wine capable of respecting and expressing the territory in which it is produced: the GREASE Project and the VINTES Project.
